Spencer was a policy debater at Edina High School with six career bids and two TOC appearances. After two years at the University of Minnesota, he now debates for the University of Iowa. He has made outround appearances at a number of tournaments including Gonzaga, ADA, and CEDA nationals. A K debater on the aff and neg, Spencer is particularly interested in thinking about queerness, and the way that gender shapes our interactions with the world and each other.
