Ben Waldman debated for Walt Whitman High School for 5 years, earning 10 career bids and qualifying to the Tournament of Champions his sophomore, junior and senior years. He was an LD captain his junior year and the vice president of Whitman debate his senior year. As a debater, he read mainly philosophy and theory positions. Ben now attends the University of Chicago, where he studies computer science. Outside of debate, Ben enjoys baking, roller coasters, and Formula 1.
