Kyle debated for West Des Moines Valley for 6 years, qualifying to the TOC his senior year. For the past 5 years, he has coached Iowa City West's LD team. His students have co-champed the State tournament, qualified to nationals, and debated in eliminations rounds at the TOC. In high school, he primarily read Ks but now coaches more philosophy and theory. Kyle graduated from the University of Iowa in 2022 and will begin law school at Iowa in the Fall.
