Claire Beamer debates at The College Preparatory School in Oakland, CA, serving as Public Forum team captain for the second year in a row. She has received 10 gold bids to the Tournament of Champions, qualifying twice and notably breaking to outrounds her junior year. As a junior, Claire reached quarters of the Apple Valley Invitational and was the first seeded team at the California Invitational. As a senior, Claire received three top-5 speaker awards and championed the Nano Nagle Invitational, James Logan Invitational and California Round Robin. She also reached semifinals at ASU and quarterfinals at Apple Valley and the California Invitational. Last summer, in addition to attending Delta where she honed her skills, Claire coached at NOVA Debate Camp. She is passionate about teaching debate to excited young students, and recently introduced Public Forum to her seventh grade brothers. Claire attended Delta as a camper in the Epsilon Lab prior to her senior season, and she can’t wait to work with you all at Delta this summer!
