Alec Boulton debated at Valley International Prep in Chatsworth, CA, and now privately coaches teams. Over his two year Public Forum career, Alec accumulated 10 gold bids, and two autoquals to the TOC. Most notably, he placed 3rd at NSDA Nationals, octafinaled at the 2019 TOC, quarterfinaled at the 2020 TOC, and placed in the top-5 at California States. Alec was the first ever back-to-back top seed at TOC, with perfect 7-0 records each year. During the regular season, Alec semifinaled Arizona State University and Presentation, finaled Bronx, and championed Santa Clara, the Strake Round Robin, and the Georgetown Tournament. Individually, Alec won top speaker at ASU and Jack Howe, third at Stanford and 5th at Berkeley. Alec also had an undefeated prelim record at NSDA Nationals, and is ranked top-5 in total NSDA points in history. As a coach, Alec's teams have amassed over 30 gold bids and 55 bid rounds, championing Bronx Science, the University of Kentucky, Apple Valley, SF Roosevelt, Columbia, and the Silver TOC, and finaling Millard North and Princeton. Alec was part of Delta’s inaugural session, is excited to return to Delta for his third summer as an instructor.
