Alyssa is currently enrolled in Cornell University, and previously attended Glen Rock High School. She has four years of Public Forum Debate experience as Founder and Captain of the Glen Rock Middle/ High School Speech and Debate Team. There, Alyssa organized the annual Glen Rock Invitational and 2022 Bergen County Invitational tournaments. Students that she has coached in the club have reached outrounds at national tournaments with no previous experience. Alyssa is also Co-founder of Gate2Debate which provided free debate resources and classes to students during the COVID quarantine. By the end of high school she qualified for silver and gold TOC, and held winning records both times. She also broke at various national bid tournaments: notably getting gold bids at Peninsula and James Logan.
