Sam debated for 1 year at Trinity Prep, and for 3 years at Lake Highland Prep. As a debater he accumulated the 3rd most National Speech and Debate Association points in the country, ranking him as 3rd in his graduating class nationally. Throughout Sam’s time as a coach several of his students have made it to elimination rounds at the Tournament of Champions. Sam’s students have also won over a dozen national tournaments, and in the 2017-18 season, 4 of Sam’s students were ranked in the top 10 in the country. In the 2018-19 season, 10 of Sam’s students were ranked in the top 100 in the country, amassing 1/10th of the top 100 debaters in the country.  Sam has 8 years of experience running workshops and camps and looks forward to continuing to provide an amazing debate experience for his students!
