Ali debated for Harrison High School and had 17 career bids. He championed the Harvard, Apple Valley, and Isidore Newman Invitationals along with reaching finals of the Stanford and Blue Key Invitationals. He qualified to the Tournaments of Champions two times, making it to octafinals his junior year. Ali's primary interests include policy-style arguments and theory. Outside of debate, he enjoys playing tennis, ping pong, and traveling.
