Tarun Ratnasabapathy is currently a student at Duke University and an assistant LD coach for Peninsula highschool. As a highschooler, he debated for four years for Southlake Carroll and qualified for the Tournament of Champions his senior year accumulating 11 career bids, championed the Texas State tournament, was in the finals of the Blue Key Invitational, and championed the Voices Round Robin. Additionally, he reached the semifinals of the Heart of Texas Invitational and the quarterfinals of Presentation and Grapevine. As a coach for 2 years, he has coached numerous students to win bid rounds and tournaments and he is excited to be teaching at NSD again this year.
