Gautam is a computer engineering major currently in his first year of college with a contract to transfer to UC Irvine. As a debater who was on the circuit for 2 years and was the M and first speaker in Golden State MR and DebateDrills MR, Gautam got 3 bids, qualified to TOC without a school, won SCU twice, won John Lewis Invitational, finaled at CSU Fullerton, quartered at Michigan, Badgerland Chung, and Georgetown while picking up speaking awards throughout. Gautam has 1 year of coaching under his belt, working at DebateDrills this past season. As a debater he was very flay focused and hopes to continue coaching that type of debate.
