Elizabeth Murno debated for Harrison High School from 2018-2022 in Lincoln-Douglas and was team captain her senior year. Over the four years, she cleared and received speaker awards at many tournaments, such as Yale, Isidore Newman, and Columbia. Elizabeth spent most of her four years dedicating her time to coaching the novices and middle schoolers. As well as cutting prep and and helping her teammates at tournaments. She is most familiar with critical and performance debate, as she mainly read Ks, specializing in feminist, queer, settler-colonialism, and capitalist positions. Outside of debate, Elizabeth enjoys reading, writing, and chess. She taught at NSD in Philadelphia the summer of 2022, and has continued participating in the debate community with Harrison High School.
