Ari is attending USC to earn a PhD. Ari coaches the Longhorns' Policy Debate team. As a college policy debater, Ari won multiple major national tournaments including the CEDA and ADA national championship tournaments, collecting several Top-5 speaker awards along the way including Top Speaker at CEDA in 2023. As a coach, Ari has helped coached students to national success across the board, with dozens of bids across High School LD and Policy debate and several deep-elimination-round TOC performances. Though Ari loves to win, Ari is most interested in her students' epistemological growth throughout their careers and loves coaching and teaching debate more than even debating itself. Ari is very excited to return to NSD and is looking forward to working with students of all argumentative backgrounds, although Ari is most heavily trained in Kritikal, Policy, and "Flex" styles of debate.
