Teddy debated for four years under Milton Academy and Mount Auburn, during which he amassed 9 gold bids and ranked as high as 6th in the country. During his time on the circuit he won Massachusetts States, Patriot Games, and TOC Digital; broke at the TOC; top spoke the NSD camp tournament last year; and reached late outrounds at Harvard, UK, John Lewis, NCFL Nationals (2x), Patriot Games, Houston, TOC Digital (3x), and Katy Taylor (2x). He also competed very frequently on the lay Massachusetts circuit and has won around half of the state's local tournaments over the past three years. Teddy specializes primarily in lay and phil debate, but he's also gone for theory, Ks, and substance many times. He's also spent the last two years founding his own business Sparkwise Debate, which aims to provide high-quality circuit coaching to under-resourced debaters. He is excited to teach this summer!
