Adeena Naeem debated for Harrison High School for 4 years and served as a team captain as a senior. She qualified for the Tournament of Champions and Octa-finaled at Princeton and Newark her senior year. Her main debate interests are Ks (settler colonialism, anti-blackness, capitalism), topicality, and theory. She has experience coaching students as a Women in Debate (W.in) mentor for 2 years. Outside of debate, she enjoys reading dystopian literature, watching zombie movies, and oil painting.
