Adelaide will be attending Carnegie Mellon University in the fall for business and debated at Westridge School for 6 years, served as a captain for 4, and earned 8 bids to the Tournament of Champions across 10 national circuit tournaments attended. Her career accomplishments include semifinaling at CA State Champs, octafinaling at NSDA Nationals, and being a top 3 speaker at Cal Berkeley out of 334 competitors. For reaching out-rounds at several national circuit tournaments, she’s been invited to compete at the Berkeley and Durham Cavalier Round Robins. As the overall captain of her speech and debate team, she focuses on helping her peers write more compelling cases, improve their presentation skills, and develop in-round strategy. Adelaide can’t wait to do the same for students at NSD this summer!
