She, Her, Hers
Rose has participated in debate for the past 7 years, has been the Academy at Palumbo's debate team Co-Captain for the past 3 years, and has served as the head coach for the Mamie Nichols Debate Team for the past year. She is going into her freshman year as a Sonkin-Weisman Scholar at Temple University, majoring in Political Science and Economy with a double minor in Spanish and Dance. Her debate achievements include making Octos at NCFLs in 2024 and 2025, Semis at the Pennsylvania State Championship in 2025, and auto qualifying to Gold TOC in Junior and Senior year. Rose has a specialized knowledge in accessing debate from the background of small, urban, public, and underfunded teams, utilizing free resources and squirrelly arguments to compete at a national level. She looks forward to aiding in creating better access to and compassion within the debate community.
