Tony debated for West Des Moines Valley Highschool for 4 years. Throughout his time at Valley he competed primarily in LD. Tony consistently made it to bid rounds of national tournaments. By his senior year he specialized in Phil & K debate primarily reading Foucault, Kant, & Marx.
