Austin debated for 4 years at Ardrey Kell High School while also serving as Captain of the team. He earned 3 gold bids and 6 silvers. I was a two time state and district champion, and semifinaled the NCFL Grand National Tournament. He also qualified to NSDA 4 years in a row, breaking 2 times in World Schools Debate. On the national circuit, Austin reached deep elimination rounds at tournaments like UKSO, Cavalier Invitational, and Laird Lewis. He also recieved top 15 speaker awards at tournaments like Mid America and Tim Averill. Austin focused mainly on lay and tech substance debate, but has substantial experience in theory and Ks.
