He, Him, His
Julian graduated from Strake Jesuit and is attending Claremont McKenna College. His largest debate accomplishment is co-champing three bid tournaments (Lexington, Katy Taylor, and Bellaire). Also breaking at nationals, he went to outrounds at many tournaments, netting 4 gold bids and one silver bid junior year, as well as an additional gold and silver bidsenior year. Julian specializes in flay and K debate, but he can help elsewhere as well. He debated numerous styles and with his extensive debate and teaching experience is very flexible. In terms of that coaching experience, Julian has worked as a hired coach, but he also has done volunteer work with camps and mentoring. He worked at his school's debate camp No Limits and coached the winners of the camp tournament, among hundreds of campers, each of the years he worked with the program. Along with No Limits, he volunteered for Circuit Skillbuilder, coaching, judging, and lecturing at their Summer Camp. He also worked with Outreach and mentored multiple debaters through that program. Julian is interested in pursuing teaching professionally and is excited to work with students at NSD.
