Zijia debated for 3 years at Dreyfoos School of the Arts, reaching outrounds at Harvard, Emory, and the Florida Blue Key, qualifying to the Tournament of Champions twice and NSDA Nationals once, mostly reading technical policy arguments. Most notably, he top spoke the Blue Key Round Robin.
