Ryan debated for 4 years at McLean High School, serving as head captain his junior and senior year. Throughout his career, he was ranked as high as #1 in the nation, qualified to the Tournament of Champions (2x), and championed Grapevine. As a coach, Ryan qualified 4 teams to the TOC and helped his students reach deep elimination rounds at UPenn, Ridge, George Mason, Three Rivers, University of Houston, and more. He specializes in flay debate and is passionate about helping novices reach a competitive level. Ryan is excited to teach at NSD this summer!
