He, Him, His
Mason is an incoming freshman at Harvard University, where he will study Economics, and a graduate of Marvin Ridge High School, where he served as the Debate Team Captain in his senior year and JV Captain his junior and sophomore year. Most recently, he championed NSDA in World Schools Debate. His other accomplishments include championing Harvard Online and Laird Lewis, being top speaker at the Cavalier Invitational, consistently making elimination rounds at national tournaments, and championing multiple local NC tournaments. Mason primarily specializes in lay and substance debate, but has substantial phil experience from competing in LD. His coaching led his team to earn 1st debate and overall sweepstakes at his district tournament this year, and is incredibly excited to coach more at NSD!
