Nathan attended Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, AL, and founded his school's debate team. He was a 4 time qualifier to NSDA Nationals and a 2 time qualifier to the TOC. During the season, he placed 7th at NSDA Nationals, championed John Lewis, and octafinaled tournaments like Marist, Laird Lewis, DSD1, and the University of Michigan. Nathan leads a nonprofit called Outreach Debate and lobbied to secure a quarter of a million dollars in funding for his state’s debate education. He has four years of coaching experience and is most experienced in substance debate, lay appeal, and theory.
