David graduated from Rutgers University- Newark where he debated for their policy team. He attended Science Park High School in Newark, NJ and debated in LD and policy for 4 years. He was in elimination rounds of multiple national tournaments including the Barkley Forum for High Schools, the Lexington Invitational and the Scarsdale Invitational in addition to winning speaker awards at these and more. He also placed top 14 at NSDA Nationals in policy in 2017. As a collegiate debater, he has been a two-time CEDA quarterfinalist, an NDT Double-Octafinalist, has received a top 20 speaker award at every national collegiate regular season tournament, and has championed the Open Division of the California Swings, the West Point Debate Tournament, and JV Nationals. He has coached debaters to late elimination rounds at numerous tournaments including Greenhill, Bronx, Apple Valley Glenbrooks, NCFL Nationals, NSDA Nationals, the Tournament of Champions, and more. David specializes in teaching critical argumentation and has a deep fascination for studying clash-based interactions across all forms of argumentation. He is excited to work with students this summer.
