Risiqat graduated from Science Park High School (aka Newark Science). She debated in the policy division for all four years of high school and specialized in K debate (NewSci AO on the wiki). Some debate success she is proud of include qualifying to the TOC twice, getting to quarter finals her senior year, earning 2nd place Baker award, being top 6 at NSDA nationals junior yr, Semifinals and Finals of the Harvard Tournament both junior and senior year, and quarterfinalist/octofinalist at The Glenbrooks and Barkley Forum (Emory) respectively. Risiqat was also consistently in elimination rounds/championed several other national tournaments (Digital debate series onlines, Bronx, NDCA, etc). She will be attending Brown University in the fall and has previous coaching experience at the Newark Debate Institute.
