Eva Lamberson

Eva Lamberson is the Lincoln Douglas coach at the Hawken School, where they also serve as a high school humanities teacher. They hold a B.A. in Philosophy from Youngstown State University, where they were the 2023 NEDA National Champion in Policy Debate and the 2020 APPE National Champion in Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl. They work in publishing for NSD, specifically on the briefs, YouTube, and blog. 

As a debater, Eva competed in LD for four years and was the 2018 NCFL National Champion and placed in the top 14 at the 2018 NSDA National Tournament. They have been coaching since 2018 and have coached students to succeed at the local, state, and national level, including qualifying multiple students to NCFL, NSDA, and TOC nationals. Their students have championed or finaled tournaments like NSDA Nationals, NCFL Grand Nationals, the UK Season Opener, Durham, and the Ohio State Tournament. Their students have reached late elims at tournaments like Glenbrooks, Emory, Yale, and Blue Key.
