Hannah Swen debated with Horace Mann School for 4 years as a second speaker, ranking as high as Top 25 in the country. Her major accomplishments include receiving a Top 10 speaker award at TOC and garnering a total of 4 career bids. In addition, she quarterfinaled the New York Invitational and broke at tournaments like Ridge, Columbia, and Princeton. As the outreach director for her team, Hannah has taken an international approach to service, establishing a UN-recognized program in Romania and working with schools in Beijing, China. Coaching novices for the Horace Mann team, Hannah’s mentees have gone on to champion JV Yale and Novice Lexington. Hannah loves flay debate and narrative approaches to the round. She was part of the Epsilon labs at NSD and is excited to come back as an instructor!
