General Definition

In every debate event debaters are given a certain amount of time to develope argument and talk with their partners. This can be used at any point within speeches.

In Public Forum, debaters have three minutes of prep time.

In Lincoln Douglas, debaters have five minutes of prep time.

In Policy, debaters have 10 minutes of prep time.
