Debate Land is proud to offer comprehensive national circuit rankings for Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas debate. We believe that by providing comprehensive and transparent rankings, we can foster a more inclusive, legitimate, and competitive debate community. Debate Land uses a proprietary metric of ranking debaters colloquially known as the OTR Score. It awards points based on scaled tournament attendance, high performance (deep elimination round runs), and success against difficult opponents. Every system has flaws, but the OTR 3.0 Score is an open-source metric widely available to debaters.
