Sam has a B.A. in Philosophy from Bowdoin College. He has spent the last decade coaching champion debaters as a head coach at large, storied programs and running one of the most successful independent debate programs in the country.

Over the last decade, Sam has coached students to championships at nearly every major national tournament, including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, and the NYC Invitationals. His students have earned dozens of Top 10 national rankings, and he most notably coached a Dukes and Bailey Award winner, awarded to the top-ranked debater in the country during the regular season.
