Julia has a B.A. in Strategic Communication (Public Relations and Advertising) and a B.A. in Theater from Butler University, along with an M.A. in Communication from Marshall University. She has coached speech and debate at both the collegiate and high school levels and competed extensively during her own academic career. Some of her favorite events to coach include Original Oratory, Impromptu Speaking, IPDA Debate, and Public Forum. Julia has helped coach multiple Tournament of Champions and NSDA National qualifiers across a variety of events and most recently helped coach an NSDA National Champion in Extemporaneous Commentary.
