Eshal Sandhu debated for 4 years at Dougherty Valley High School in the Bay Area, California. During her career, she qualified to the CA State tournament three times and the Tournament of Champions. Most notably, she championed the La Costa Canyon Invitational and reached finals at ASU and the CA State Tournament, ranking in the top 20 teams nationally. She's also reached late elimination rounds at tournaments like James Logan, Berkeley, and Golden Desert. Eshal is captain of her varsity team and has been a volunteer instructor for Dougherty Valley’s middle school program of 75+ students. As captain, her teams have reached 10+ bid rounds and received multiple top 10 speaker awards.
