Roma debated under Fairmont Preparatory Academy for 2 years. She served as Captain for Fairmont’s 90 person debate team and headed all tournaments. Throughout her career, she broke at tournaments like Yale, UKSO, and other octo’s bids, ultimately leading to being ranked as high as 11th in the nation and garnering her invites to a number of Round Robins such as Cal. As a senior, she took on a coaching and development role, ultimately leading 2 of her novice teams to TOC qualifications as freshman. Roma mainly specializes in lay and substantive debate, dabbling in theory along the way, and looks forward to teaching at camp this summer!
