Zara is currently a senior at the Hackley School in New York. She has competed on her school's debate team for four years. Zara has attended the TOC her sophomore and junior year, championed the New York City Invitational (2020) and the Lexington Invitational (2022), quarterfinaled the New York City Invitational (2021), and finaled the Blake Round Robin (2021). During her career, her team was ranked as highly as #6 in the nation. During high school, Zara has served as the caption and director of her debate team, has run middle school debate camps, and has worked at Nova Debate Camp. She looks forward to working at NSD, especially with a focus on narrative-style debate.
