Varnica is an incoming first-year college student. She is the captain of the varsity debate team at Lambert High School in Georgia, where she qualified for the TOC all four years while amassing 11 bids and qualified to NSDA Nationals twice. Most notably, she championed the Peach State Classic, top-spoke Princeton, and reached the quarter-finals of the TOC. Outside of competing, Varnica coaches multiple teams who have qualified for the TOC as well as NCFL and championed local tournaments. She also works with novices at her school and has mentored students via the Debate Group for 2 years. She is an active advocate for socioeconomic and gender equity in debate and served as the State President of the Georgia Beyond Resolved chapter. She enjoys working with students on round strategy, rebuttal skills, and progressive debate. She has coached multiple times at the Tournament of Champions and outrounds at numerous national tournaments, including Emory, UK, and Princeton. Varnica is thrilled to be a part of the NSD Delta Debate Academy team!
